Once again the beauty and compassion of our Lord overflowed onto and
into us at our 2008 OR District LWML Convention in Medford. Through
in-depth Bible Studies, joyful and uplifting worship services,
challenging outreach and mission presentations and activities,
Christian fellowship (koinonia) and yes, even in the necessary
business and organizational items the Beauty of the Lord our God was
upon us.
As our new biennium begins, we are confident that our Beautiful and
Triune God will continue to establish the work of our hands as we
fulfill our LWML mission statement: To assist each woman of the
Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod in affirming her relationship with
the Triune God so that she is enabled to use her gifts in ministry
to the people of the world.
