Goal Statement Confident that my God reigns as Creator, Redeemer, and Sanctifier, I share His love and peace with others.
Objectives Convention attendees are given opportunities for and are motivated to: V Worship God the Maker of all things V Trust in the Lord who daily meets their needs V Declare God’s peace and provision through tangible acts of mercy and grace V Share the Good News of Jesus in everyday situations

Did you know?... Host Committee Chairman Julia Riess will be attending nine district conventions over the spring, summer and fall, as an exhibitor, to promote Portland 2009 and sell convention shirts. |

Did you know?... The contract for convention shirts has been signed with Frank Bashor Supplies Inc. of Portland and Shirt Sales Director Donna Boyd has placed an order for the first 500 shirts, which will be available for sale at the district convention. |

Did you know?... Our own Northwest District LCMS President Warren Schumacher will be the worship designer and proclaimer for the convention opening worship service on June 25. |

Psalm 121:1-2 (NIV) Pray for God's reign of abundant blessings on the many tasks of the convention planning. Pray for God to shower His grace as he provides strength, wisdom and joy to all the committees in their convention work.
