I lift my eyes to the hills—where does my help come from?  My help comes from the LORD,

the Maker of heaven and earth.   Psalm 121:1-2 (NIV)

How beautiful on the mountains are the feet of those who bring good news, who proclaim peace,

who bring good tidings, who proclaim salvation, who say to Zion, “Your God reigns!”  Isaiah 52:7 (NIV)

   Goal Statement

Confident that my God reigns as Creator, Redeemer, and Sanctifier, I share His love and peace with others.

    Objectives

Convention attendees are given opportunities for and are motivated to:

  •    Worship God the Maker of all things

  •    Trust in the Lord who daily meets their needs

  •    Declare God’s peace and provision through tangible acts of mercy and grace

  •    Share the Good News of Jesus in everyday situations

"I lift my eyes to the hills—where does my help come from? My help comes from the LORD, the Maker of heaven and earth."

Psalm 121:1-2 (NIV)

Pray that God's perfect will and wise guidance be revealed for the work that will be accomplished in Jesus’ Name at the Portland 2009 Convention, and that He prepares a smooth path for all those who desire to attend.

Pray for joyful, willing hearts and healthy bodies for all the Host Committee and workers who serve the Lord with gladness over the next busy weeks of preparation for the convention.

Pray for clear vision from the Lord for those attending the convention that they may be inspired by the Holy Spirit to go into the world with “beautiful feet” to boldly share the message of God’s love in providing for salvation through Christ.
