Pretty in Purple

OR District Pastoral Counselor Rev. Daniel Faragalli
promised the district board that he would paint his
nails purple
if everyone else on the board did. Six months later,
he had forgotten his promise, but the women didn't!
Dixie Thamert did the honors for him.

WE
LOVE BECAUSE HE FIRST LOVED US! I John 4:19
Praise and thanks
to our Reigning Lord for the abundant, overflowing joys and
inspirations He showered on us through the years of preparation and
during the festal days of the Portland 2009 convention. May He carry
forward His plans and the contacts made by using our efforts to
bring His redeemed children closer to Himself in all eternity. The
2009 Convention mountain top experience encourages us to now
go on being His women in mission as He directs us in His ways
back on the plain.
Our Lord continues
to reign as we of the Oregon District now put into action our hope
in the Lord. We claim the promises of our Creator, the everlasting
God, which He gives us in our 2010 district convention theme verse,
Isaiah 40: 31 “…those who hope in the Lord will renew their
strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and
not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.”
Between now and
June 2010 at our Oregon District Convention we ask His leadership
and guidance to prepare an event which will bring Him glory and
through which He will steadfastly draw His children to Him.
The
Word of our God stands forever. Isaiah 40:8
