AVAILABLE NOW!
DVD of the 2008 Oregon
District Convention in Medford. The DVD includes all of the
speakers, the choir, part of the variety show, and other highlights. It
also has still pictures with beautiful music added at the end. It is
being professionally produced and will come in a DVD case with the
convention logo/banner on the front, and a picture of the president's
pantry band on the back! The cost will be $20.00, and that includes
shipping. The deadline for ordering is January 1, 2009.

LOOK TO THE HILLS…OUR GOD REIGNS
YES! Praise and thanks to our Great God! The
Lutheran Women’s Missionary League has exceeded its $1.7 million
mission grant goal for the 2007-2009 biennium by $75, 730. 17. Thank
you to each of you who have faithfully used your mite boxes to help
fund the 18 mission grants ranging from supporting a soup kitchen in
Chicago to funding portable medical clinics in Sudan.
In addition to contributing 25 percent of funds to
national grants, all of the 40 LWML districts including our OR LWML
district support their own mission projects, which are estimated to
total more than $6.5 million for the 2007-09 biennium.
Now it is time to choose the next biennium’s mission
goal and grants at the LWML Convention in Portland, OR on June
25-28.
